Our Story

The story of MODUS VIVENDI is the culmination of a dream. A dream to go beyond limited choices.

Based in Thessaloniki, Greece, MODUS VIVENDI founded in December 1989 by the greek designer Christos Bibitsos as a more tailored approach to exclusive men's underwear, swimwear, athleisure and accessories.

All of our garments are designed and manufactured in Greece. From the high quality textiles, to the exclusive hand-design and luxurious packaging, expect nothing but the best.

The MODUS VIVENDI team works closely with specially selected partners to ensure that our quality is the best in the men’s underwear world. Throughout the decades we have developed our collections to offer a style to suit every preference, always using the finest fabrics for unparalleled softness and comfort.


Our Vision

The MV World draws inspiration from our vision: to deliver a new experience in men’s underwear fashion with the Way of Life. We want you to set new standards and express yourself and your diversity starting with your underwear. We break norms in fashion and bring fun in the design of men's underwear, leaving behind the traditional and plain boring underwear.

Our Creations

All MV creations draw inspiration mainly from Greece’s iconic pictures and history. We connect with our roots using designs from ancient Greece [Meander, Iconic]. We grow the brilliant minds and ideas that have come before us; we’re taking them ahead to influence men in different ways. We blend our creative talent with life, art & people from around the world; whether it is a painter, a filmmaker, a music scheme, or a famous person we love.

  • ALWAYS WASH ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CARE LABEL.
  • USE ONLY PH NEUTRAL AND DEMARTOLOGICALLY TESTED DETERGENT SO AS TO AVOID ALLERGIES.
  • DELICATED FABRICS SHOULD BE TURNED INSIDE OUT BEFORE WASHING. ALL CLOTHING MADE OF LEATHER LOOK MATERIALS, LATEX OR FOIL PRINTED FABRICS SHOULD BE WASHED ON PROGRAMME FOR DELICATES. IRON ON LOW HEAT OR, BETTER STILL, STEAM FROM A DISTANCE.
  • MACHINE DRYING IS NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOURS CLOTHES ARE TO KEEP THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION
  • HAND WASH ALL YOUR SWIMWEAR IN WARM WATER USING A MILD DETERGENT. IF YOU DO MACHINE WASH, SELECT A PROGRAMME FOR DELICATES, UP TO 30 C.
  • AIR DRY YOUR CLOTHES IN THE SHADE. IF DRYING IN DIRECT SUN, TURN CLOTHES INSIDE OUT TO JEEP THEM FROM FADING.
  • USE SPECIAL ‘COLOR CATCHER’ CLOTHS INSIDE THE WASHING MACHINE TO PRESERVE COLORS AND BLACK /WHITE CLOTHING.
  • DON’T LEAVE CLOTHES IN THE WASHING MACHINE TOO LONG, REMOVE YOUR CLOTHES DIRECTLY AFTER WASHING THEM.
  • DON’T USE BLEACH: NOT ALL OF OURS CLOTHES DESIGNED TO TOLERATE BLEACH; AND ESPECIALLY: NEWS COLORS SWIMWEAR.
  • DON’T IRON THE ELASTINE WAISTBRANDS OR RIBBED HEMS OF YOUR UNDERWEAR. THEYWILL LAST LONGER THIS WAY.
